This committee works with community grouops and other parishes to help solve social problems which have impact on people in the community. In particular, it concerns itself with the plight of the homeless and needy anad seeks to provide relief to the hungry by supporting a local food pantry, soliciting the cooperation of each parish member in this effort. Further, the committee keeps parishioners aware of issues relating to justice and peace on local, national, and international levels so that appropriate Christian action on such issues can be determined.
