This committee helps to shape school policy for recommendations to, and consideration by, the Parish Council. Further, it assists the principal and the pastor in their supervision of the school and encourages parent participation in parish and school affairs. The committee also investigates possibilities for collaborative activities with othe local church schools.
This is an elected group of school parents. Its function is to form school policy, establish and monitor the school budget, fund-raising, long-range planning, public relations, recruitment and retention and promote St. Andrew Parish School. Elections for seats on the School Committee occur each spring and are for three-year terms.
All parents are encouraged to participate in these monthly meetings that are held in the George W. Alder Smart Room on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 5:30 pm.
