I have been Religious Education Coordinator for the Deaf since 2006. I am a cradle Catholic having attended Catholic grade school (St. Boniface) and high school (Roncalli) growing up in Manitowoc, WI. We joined St. Andrew parish in 1978. I am married to my rock and live- in saint, Greg. I work at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf and have served there for more than 40 years. I have been involved in religious education with either the English program or the Deaf program for over 35 years. I also serve as an interpreter for the Deaf at Masses and have been a lector (my most passionate ministry) for more than 45 years. In 2013, I received my certification in adult catechesis, as I felt God calling me to serve Him in that area. Should your group want a presentation or classes, I am available for spiritual adult formation growth if interested. In 2004 I received the Vatican II Award from then Archbishop Timothy Dolan for Service in Communication relating to my ministry with the Deaf. In 2005 I received the Service Above Self Award from the Delavan-Darien Rotary Club. My proudest accomplishment in life was raising 4 amazing children who are St. Andrew alumni. We currently have 6 grandchildren. (I'll refrain from showing pictures.) 'Church work' is my joy and, according to my family, my obsessive hobby. My favorite inspirational verse from the Bible that nourishes and grounds me is "Be still and know that I am God."
