Together We Can Do So Much

The Parent Volunteer Association is comprised of parents, teachers, and the principal that meet monthly to serve the needs of the teachers, parents, and the students.  We sponsor multiple meals, social gatherings, guest lecturers, and community building activities.  We also work to welcome new families to our school community and want to foster a sense of belonging to all school family members and staff.  The Parent Volunteer Association is open to all parents and staff of St. Andrew Parish School.

We strive to:

     1. Assist the administration, faculty and staff in their responsibilities of caring for and educating the children, particularly in their faith development.
     2. Further support the educational process of St. Andrew School and promote special projects and activities that are not included as part of the school budget.
     3. Be a forum of communication among school administration, faculty, parents, students, and the parish.
     4. Provide opportunities for families, faculty, administration and parishioners to socialize and build community ties.

PVA Collects Box Tops for Education year-round to support our schools needs that aren't covered by the school budget!  Each Box Top we collect is worth $.10.  There are collection boxes at the back of church, in the entry way of school and in each classroom!  For more information about the Box Tops for Education program, please visit www.boxtops4education.com.

Each Fall, the PVA Committee hosts a Welcome Back to School Pizza Party to welcome all of our St. Andrew Parish School Families back for another great year!  This is a fun way for new families to get to know others and to reconnect with everyone after Summer Break!  For more information, please visit our PVA Welcome Back Party Event Page.

Each Spring, the St. Andrew Parish School Gym is transformed into a HUGE Children's Clothing & Toy Resale shop.  This annual consignment sale not only helps support our school, but it also offers parents the opportunity to purchase like new children's items at a fraction of the cost.  For more information, please visit our Children's Clothing Sale Event Page.
